Barnyworld – Barny Bear Review for Britmums

I’m sorry I’ve been a little absent from the blogging world. We’ve been very busy over in this household. On Friday we took an adventure on the train to London to visit the Natural History Museum. We also took my 83 year old Grandad and my Mum with us for support… I also get nervous when travelling to London especially with the girls and it was P2s first experience of a train ride.

The journey was pretty straight forward and we snacked on a box of chocolates that my Mum had thoughtfully sneaked into her bag. P1 really enjoyed looking at all the trees go past and P2 was completely fascinated.

P1 was so thrilled when we arrived at the museum. Whenever we go to zoos she’s never really that interested by it all, and generally just passes the enclosure. But being at the museum was so different. She stopped at every exhibit, asking what each thing was which definitely satisfied my Grandad as he loves all this type of thing.

It was a day full of new adventures. A day of memories too as I remember coming round the Natural History Museum a very long time ago with my Nan and Grandad. I just loved watching P1s face light up when she learnt all about new things.

When we got home the girls tucked in to some new Barny Bear sponge snacks. They come in two flavours; milk and chocolate. My personal favourite was the chocolate one, but P1 and P2 both enjoyed the milk one… I wonder why?!

  1. One of my favourite places and great to see different generations enjoying it. Commenting for myself and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part.

  2. Looks like you had a good time. I have just booked a weekend in London. Slightly nervous at how we are going to manage with a toddler and baby. We are heading to the History museum to, to see the dinosaurs if they are still there.
