Bio-Oil & Bump Tracker App Review & A Competition

There’s plenty of pregnancy apps. From ones that track your pregnancy with helpful hints and tips all the way to ones that you can post your bump selfies on. I’ve recently downloaded the Bio-Oil Bump Tracker. Bio-Oil itself is a trusted brand so I had high hopes for the app.

It’s a free app and a very simple one to use. The Bump Tracker is purely an app to help document your changing pregnancy body. Firstly you add your scan photo, then you can take a photo of yourself. Once this first picture has been taken it creates a faded outline image so that you can correctly align yourself for the next shot, and the next and the next.

The app enables you to be sent notifications each week to remind you to take that ever so important bump pic and create a memorable account of your pregnancy.

When baby arrives you can take a photo of yourself with your new bundle to complete the pregnancy journey. The app then creates a little video of all the pictures added that you can very easily upload straight to social media channels and even YouTube, oh and don’t forget via email to family and friends as a really unique keepsake birth announcement!

I always found myself switching through different apps with P2s pregnancy, trying to find the perfect one for what I wanted. I’m so pleased to have found the Bio-Oil Bump Tracker because it’s very straight forward and has all the features I need being a social media junky. You can download the app for free by going to the App Store or by clicking here. Here’s my bump tracking video so far and of course I’ll be uploading the final one when baby three arrives:

Talking of Bio-Oil as a trusted brand, I used the oil during P1s pregnancy and felt very lucky to not produce any tiger stripes the whole of the short pregnancy I had. Whereas with P2 my skin became very itchy around the second trimester and I had to stop using Bio-Oil and switch to a different one, which didn’t help the itching either. I developed a few stretch marks but as soon as I’d had P2 and the itchy skin disappeared, I started using Bio-Oil again which really helped to reduce the redness and my mummy-scars are barely noticeable.

I’ve started using Bio-Oil again this time round, and so far it’s been a smooth and wonderful journey. Bio-Oil leaves your skin feeling very soft and smooth, a little oily but that’s to be expected. I’m hoping I don’t develop pregnancy itchiness again as I really love Bio-Oil.

I have a wonderful competition for my readers. I have 3 bottles of 60ml Bio-Oil to give away. So that’s three chances to win your own bottle of oil that can be used on anything from scars to stretch marks, enter using the Rafflecopter below:
