The cold and wet weather has truly arrived. It’s goodbye with thin fabrics and flipflops, and a warm hello to knitwear and boots. Damart sent me their Coussin D’Air Double Width Boots and a Cable Sweater to review.
Since my Nan passed away I’ve been wearing a cardigan of hers, which happens to also be from Damart. The French company was established in 1953. I was very grateful to receive the Cable Sweater. I had chose this product as I thought that the buttons would undo but unfortunately they don’t.
The sweater comes in two colours; Ecru (Cream) and Sapphire (Blue). It is made using a 100% cotton knit. I love the pattern of the knit actually but am a little disappointed with the texture. This cable sweater is not very soft to touch even after a few washes.
It has kept me extremely warm when out and about though. I’m wearing a 10/12, even though I’m more a 6/8, but I like to have my jumpers slightly baggy especially at the moment. The cable sweater costs £32.
I’ve also had these boots sent for review. They are not the usual type I’d choose as I like a bit of heel to my footwear, however the boots are so comfortable and have been perfect for when I walk to school.
They are made from leather and are cushiomed inside. Sizes range from UK3-8 and there are two colours to choose from. They cost £29.
Damart isn’t my normal go-to fashion supplier as the style is very focused on the older generation, however the products are brilliant in quality and have so much detail.
(I was sent these products free of charge for the purpose of this review. All opinions and photos are of my own)
