I am trying my very best to document our lives during this uncertain time. All of these moments will be part of our history and things we will talk about for centuries to come.
Easter Sunday was very different to how we usually spend it. We usually go to church in the morning to celebrate the rising of Christ, that’s what Easter is all about for us. Then we’d spend the rest of the day with my mother-in-law. She hosts the most amazing Easter hunts each year and it’s definitely a highlight for us as a family.
Our girls had been asking about the Easter hunt for a few months before. When everything turned upside down, I knew this would be another thing we would be missing out on.
Thankfully, my mother-in-law had put aside Easter bits over the past year and was well prepared. She was able to social-distance-drop everything to us a few days before Easter so that we could do the hunt from home.
We had glorious weather on Easter Sunday. It enabled us to have an outdoor Easter Hunt over FaceTime with my mother-in-law and enjoyed time in our garden. Although we missed our old Easter Sunday’s, we created a different one that we’ll cherish and remember forever.
I wanted to share the memories I captured on Easter Sunday. I hope they spread some smiles wherever you are!
