Regular readers will know that I’m being sponsored by Fisher-Price this year for BritMums Live, which of course I’m super excited about. But I haven’t actually reviewed since being a Fisher-Price Mum last year but I have this to share now.
The Fisher-Price Butterfly Dreams 3-in-1 Projection Mobile is beautiful. On the face of things, it just looks like a normal cot mobile with dangly fun bits for baby to look at, but this cot mobile has three functions; cot mobile, pram toy and projector.
The cot mobile has three different music settings; a woodland/nature type sound, a lovely lullaby that is really soft and white noise which sounds pretty scary to me! The projection display is quite bright actually but the stars really entertain P3 and thankfully you are able to have the lights off if needed. As a cot mobile, the bears rotate automatically as the music plays.
I’ve really enjoyed having the bears out with me on long journeys. P3 is much more awake these days and she doesn’t just fall asleep when in her pram or car seat so toys are a must! The little bears that float along are just enough to keep P3 memorised until she drops off to sleep and P2 also loves them just as much, maybe more.
We haven’t used the projection part on its own yet but I love the way it just unclips and can be transported wherever we fancy. I can see this becoming quite useful for when she is older and maybe has a little bed side table, or even for travelling to keep something familiar.
The only downside I have is that the straps that fix it to the cot side bars leave it quite loose, however, there is a safety tie strap which makes me feel a little more comfortable about having it attached.
The cot mobile costs £34.99 which I think is priced very well.
