Typically, bibs are a must have accessory to weaning and feeding times. I personally rarely used them. I figured that kids will get messy and nothing can be so bad that our washing machine can’t handle – right?!
With baby led weaning fully established and P2 being nearly 14 months old we’ve started to allow her to feed herself her breakfast. This includes Fromage frais, wheetabix and cereal with milk! Cue the need for a bib…
Funky Giraffe sent me 5 bibs to test. I was allowed to choose the designs I wanted which was really hard as they have such a variety!!! Here are the ones I chose:
The bibs are a bandana style bib with adjustable sizing thanks to poppers. I found that these bibs weren’t very great at catching the oodles of goo created by wheetabix and Fromage frais, although they did catch the bit around her neck area, the rest fell underneath and onto her clothes. However, I can see these bibs being fantastic for teething and superb for catching dribbles.
I also love the how bold and stylish the bibs are. There’s plenty to choose from on the website too so you could probably match a bib to every outfit your baby owns!!
You can buy 5 bibs here for just £11 with free UK delivery.
