Hobbycraft Christmas Craft Review

With Halloween over everything is now focused on Christmas. Well it started to creep into shops and tv adverts before Halloween!!

I’ve always been very arty and P1 is certainly following in my footsteps. I used to go to Hobbycraft with my Mum as a child. Even if we never bought anything it was always an exciting trip. Seeing all the colours and different materials, it was exciting! I took P1 there earlier this year and she had the same excitement and sparkle in her eyes that I know I had as a child.

I spent so much money that day completely kitting out our craft box. It’s huge! I was utterly thrilled when Hobbycraft sent me some Christmas crafts to add to my bits and bobs.
20131105-084436 pm.jpgWe received a Christmas Decoupage Card Pack, Christmas Die-Cut Sentiments, Papercraft Present Toppers and some Adhesive Gem Stones. They sat unopened on the cabinet for ages, waiting for motivation and Halloween to be over. But I’m feeling Christmassy this week.

I don’t have much patience for a set project so P1 and I sat down to do some freestyle art together. Here’s our finished items:

(These products were sent to me free of charge by Hobbycraft for the purpose of this review. However, all opinions are of my own)

Fun craft materials. Easy to use and fantastic quality. Rather expensive though.
