Something that excited P1 about changing schools was the idea of having a packed lunch. It came completely out the blue because she’d been having school dinners for the past four months. I felt quite lucky when Joules sent us two beautiful packed lunch boxes and two sets of bath crayons.I’d never heard of Joules until my MiL bought me some wellies and wellie socks as a gift. She told me that because I was moving to Sevenoaks I’d have to look the part. The lunch boxes are excellent. They have a zip pocket in the front, inside the “door” is a mesh pocket, each lunch box comes with a little plastic lunch box and a removable tray that attaches with velcro.
P1 loves the bold pattern and has found the lunch box just the right size for her to carry on her own. It’s very easy to clean as we found out on her second day when we had a pool of orange juice inside. Everything was wiped and back to new within a few seconds.
I’ve heard a few mums comment on her lunchbox as I’ve walked past, saying “oh that’s pretty” and “that’s unusual” and it is. I don’t think it looks like any other lunch box that I’ve seen in a very long time.
As for the bath crayons… Well if you are a long term reader you’ll know that P2 hates baths. We’ve tried a lot of things to help her enjoy them and gradually we are getting there. It’s been great to add the crayons to bath time.
P1 is hugely creative and to be able to add creativity to bath time has been great. She’s been drawing on our shower glass. The crayons come out very bold and bright. What’s better is they wash off very quickly leaving no stains!
Joules products are so well designed and the quality is fantastic.
(I was sent these products free of charge by Joules for the purpose of this review. However, all opinions are of my own)
