LeapFrog Musical Rainbow Tea Party Review

I frequently feel sorry for our youngest daughter. She has to grow up wearing hand me downs and owning preloved toys. In actual fact she doesn’t really own any of her own toys. I stupidly forget that her development is at a completely different stage to her bigger sisters. One thing she really thrives doing is playing with her sisters and learning from them. The LeapFrog Musical Rainbow Tea Party set really helps to promote this bond.

The Musical Rainbow Tea Party set comes with one teapot, a tray of removable cake slices and two cups. The teapot features a manoeuvrable lid and a heart button. The teapot lights up in 6 different colours and plays 7 songs. The LeapFrog Musical Rainbow Tea Party set is designed for children aged 1-3 years and teaches colours, counting, matching and social skills. It also teaches motor skills with pouring and serving cake.

I really enjoy listening to my girls play with this toy. It has enabled them to find a happy medium of sharing which is something that happens very rarely. P2 enjoys finding the different coloured cakes and role playing with P1. The songs are really catchy and the tea-pouring sound is very realistic. That sound can also get quite annoying to an adult when the child gets obsessed by it.

Here’s a little video of when we opened the LeapFrog Musical Rainbow Tea Party for the first time.

As you can see, the girls really love this toy. It’s educational and fun for ages 1-3 years. You can get the LeapFrog Musical Rainbow Tea Party for just under £20 which is excellent value!!
