My girls have very important jobs within my blog. They are the ones that inspire and make it what it is. The ones that give me the bad nights of sleep and the proud school performances. They are what make Life With Pink Princesses. Above all their most important job is to try out all the wonderful items we get to review.
Recently we were sent the Lego DUPLO My First Truck. DUPLO is by far my favourite type of Lego at the moment, all three of my girls enjoy it and it gives them hours of joy. The My First Truck is designed to help your child learn pairs. It comes with a buildable truck, market stall, 2 Lego characters, a cat and crate plus 16 coloured bricks that are designed in pairs.
The My First Truck is perfect to teaching your child colours, matching and of course the role play side of things where they can act out a market stall. P2 and P3 have especially loved playing with the toy, and what’s better is that it’s enabled them to play together as a team. P2 has been helping her sister find and recognise the different colours.
This set costs around £16.99 and is totally worth it! Lego DUPLO is certainly a good choice of toy for bonding and it’s always the toy we get out when we have friends over and they have competitions on who can build the highest tower.

This DUPLO toy is really fun and educational. It allows my children to develop their imagination.
I keep hearing such great things about Lego Duplo. We don’t own any but I have been thinking of getting my son some for his 2nd birthday as he loves building breaks, this looks like a great first set xx
