Letter To My Princess 1 – 7 Years 6 Months

To my Princess 1,

You are now seven and a half!! It’s crazy to think that in just half a years time you will be eight and I would have been a mummy for that long.

A lot has changed I think in the past six months. I feel like we are finally starting to understand who you really are and who you’re destined to be.

Part of me thinks you may hate me for pushing for a diagnosis of autism. But I hope you don’t. I hope you’ll see that this is who you are and you are so special to us.

Beneath all the naughty drama side of you, you have a kind heart and your little sisters both love you so much. They love spending time with you because you are fun and exciting with them. You are a really wonderful big sister to them.

In just three months time you will be entering the next phase of school, although you are in a primary school, you will be entering the “juniors” side of it and things are going to naturally get tougher. Please know that we are right behind you all the way and we’ll be there if you need us.

You have developed a real skill with sewing. Everyone says it. Your school teachers and Brownie Leaders too. You do a lot of school work and really enjoy your two out of school activities too. You go to Brownies weekly and a fun after school club once a week too.

I’m proud of you. I really am. Even if we argue far more often than we should. I love you little lady.

Love Mummy x
