My Sunday Photo 2018 – Reflecting

We’ve been child free this weekend. It’s felt like quite a while since we had some proper child free time as the past few times has been interupted by chickenpox, a sleepover and being just so busy! The lead up to the summer holidays has already been so incredibly manic. There’s been school trips, days out and so many after school clubs. I’ve had zero time to just stop and think. To be me.

Hubby and I took a trip to London yesterday for a blog event which I’ll be writing about this week. London is a funny city isn’t it. Everything moves at such a fast pace and you tend to look down rather than up. The event was being held near St Paul’s Cathedral. It took me ages to actually realise this huge building was towering above us.

It made me realise that I do need to take time to take in the world around me. To not focus on all of the busy we are doing lately. Possibly, shock horror, to come off of my phone as much as I currently do. To take some time for self care, something I’ve never ever done. This weeks photo is the stunning St Paul’s Cathedral. Enjoy and let’s hope that this beautiful weather is here to stay a bit longer.
