OCD – It’s A Real Thing!

I think I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder when it comes to my bed covers. In fact I know I do.

I have absolutely no idea what started it, where it comes from, all I know is that if I see mattress, covers aren’t straight or the duvet is making its way out of the cover I get a horrible tightening inside my belly. An urge to remake the whole bed.

I hate my feet being tangled in cover. Everything has to be straight. This becomes a bit of a hassle when we are snuggling down to bed and I put my hands under my pillow and find the bottom sheet has sneaked out and is showing the mattress. I can’t see the mattress, my OH tells me to just ignore it. But I can’t! It makes me agitated, frustrated, annoyed and I honestly get close to crying if my OH refuses to move because I’m being silly. Luckily, he gives in eventually and I get to work perfecting our bed.

I wish I wasn’t like this. It’s pathetic. Although I do wish that my OCD for bed covers could slightly rub off on my motivation for house work!

Do you have anything you HAVE to do? Is there something that really makes you agitated? I’d love to know if you just do it or try keep your mind off of it?!

      I’m so glad I’m not on my own. It’s horrible, I don’t want to feel like that but I do!
