I honestly have no idea where the past week has gone. It’s been a week full of so much fun and many adventures. In case you missed our first Summer Holiday Scrapbook here is the link to it. I hope you’ll come back each Sunday to find out what we’ve been up to.
Sunday 29th July 2018
We went to London for the Monstrous Festival. Although it received a lot of bad press and lots of angry parents demanding refunds, we had a lovely time. Check out the video from our day below.
Monday 30th July 2018
We had a slow pace Monday at home. It was needed as the previous week had been full of adventures too. Hubby and I have agreed that we’ll need another 6 weeks after the summer holidays just to recover! Anyone else feeling the same?
Tuesday 31st July 2018
We had another lazy morning at home and then somehow spent two hours in the supermarket shopping for snacks for various adventures this week.
Wednesday 1st August 2018
It was a real treat to visit Marsh Farm during the summer, we are usually there for Christmas and Easter. The girls loved the Play Beach which is there all summer. This is a photo from the end of the day when they took to playing a bit of crazy golf.
Thursday 2nd August 2018
We took a road trip to Oxford for the BBC’s Countryfile Live. This was our first experience of a festival and we learnt so many things. I have one more video for this too but that’ll be live next week ready for next week’s summer scrapbook.
Friday 3rd August 2018
We had no intention to stay the entire day on our second day at Countryfile Live, however we were there until nearly closing. There’s so many things to see and do, I felt a bit sad leaving.
Saturday 4th August 2018
The cats kept us on our toes today. Thankfully the little mouse brought in was unharmed, the girls loved watching him, stroking him and then helping to release him to a safer spot. We hope Mr Squeakers will be very happy.
So there we have it. Another jam packed week of the school summer holidays. I hope you’re enjoying these little features on my blog.
