I’m the type of person who lives for the summer time. The sunshine and hot weather. There’s no secret, I shout about it all of the time. But actually as the years go by I am learning to love the autumn vibes.
One of my favourite things to do in the autumn is to visit a pumpkin patch. We went to our first one last year and we’ve had this years excursion in our diaries for a very long time as we all had such a lovely time.
Last year we went to Pumpkin Moon in Maidstone but sadly due to the weather in the lead up to Halloween was so wet, the pumpkin patch kept getting closed. I began to get a bit worried that we wouldn’t be able to go this year at all.
Thankfully Pumpkin Moon’s sister site managed to be open on the very last day of our half term, just a few days away from Halloween. We popped our wellies on and headed on our journey.
The above photos were for an Instagram campaign we was working on. I completely forgot to actually take some similar without the products in, so I hope you don’t mind them. I love the sibling one, it’s so cute!
It may seem a bit of a weird activity when you can buy a pumpkin from the supermarket but it’s so much fun! The girls absolutely love it and I definitely think we’ve found a cute annual tradition for us.
The prices at Pumpkin Moon are so good too. A giant pumpkin was £10! We couldn’t persuade Hubby for one of those, but settled for three smaller pumpkins and some teeny ones too.
Have you ever been to a pumpkin patch before?
