Taste Testing Shaken Udder Milkshakes

I’m not a milkshake drinker so it is not very common for me to pop it into my basket when we go shopping. Our girls were pleased to receive a wonderful hamper of the Shaken Udder milkshake range. There are six flavours in their range which we were excited to try.

330ml Milkshakes

We had been sent one of each flavour of the 330ml bottle Shaken Udder Milkshakes. These milkshakes are all made with British milk, they contain no artificial colours/flavours or preservatives, are suitable for vegetarians, gluten-free, a good source of calcium and contain Vitamin B12 for natural immunity support. I also love that the bottles can be recycled.

Here is the low down of the flavours:

Chocolush – It’s made with real Belgian chocolate. I think this is my favourite flavour which is why I’ve put it top on the list. It’s a dreamy, thick chocolate milkshake.

Vanillalicious – The vanilla seeds that are added to make this milkshake makes it taste like you are eating a delicious luxury ice cream. I was a bit torn between having this as my favourite or the Chocolush.

Top Banana – I was quite concerned this would taste like that yucky children’s medicine. I always find banana flavoured anything quite odd, however, this was so true to flavour. It was a delicious banana milkshake and my girls love this one!

Salted Caramel – This is a sweet one but in a really good way. It’s not too sickly and reminds me of the classic Salted Caramel Fudge pieces you can buy at a country fair. It’s yummy!

Strawberries & Clotted Cream – Eva is a real berry lover so this was her favourite flavour. I am not a fan of strawberries at all, but this flavour was so authentic. The Cornish clotted cream gave it a creamy texture. Yum!

Ooh La Latte – None of us drink coffee, I’ve always wanted to like it but it’s just not for me. This milkshake is a new flavour for Shaken Udder, it contains Arabica coffee beans which means it’s a great option for a busy parent for a little delicious energy boost. It’s got a nice flavour to it but definitely wouldn’t be my first choice.

You can get a 330ml bottle of milkshake for just over a £1 each in supermarkets, or you can order directly from Shaken Udder themselves. The more you buy the better the deal, you can get a stock of 48 bottles for £63, that’s £1.30ish each!

Kids Milkshakes

The Kids Milkshakes contain 200ml of fresh British milk and come in two flavours. They are packed with calcium for strong bones, contain no artificial bad things and are even school approved so you can pop them in a lunchbox (or your school can even order their supplies).

Strawberry – The Strawberry milkshake is made out of real strawberries just like the bigger milkshakes. I loved watching Eva’s face as she took her first sips, she was delighted!

Chocolate – This is so yummy, like drinking a cold hot chocolate only creamier. I can imagine this being a delicious treat to have in your lunchbox but also being great for your body with the calcium and vitamins.

The cartons are just the right size for a child to drink. I love the chunky size of the packaging, much easier for smaller hands to grip onto. The carton is also recyclable.

Our Verdict

I am not a milkshake drinker at all. The mere thought of it would make me shudder. However, the Shaken Udder milkshakes are the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. They make me excited to drink a milkshake. The taste is so authentic, it’s also nice to know they are made from real ingredients, making them the perfect treat for a nice sunny day.
