Last night, when the girls were in bed I went on a cleaning/tidying frenzy. I put away clean washing, put a nappy wash on, collected the dirty clothes, emptied our bins, swept the floor, cleaned the floor, did all the washing up, cleaned the surfaces. Folded clean clothes ready to be put away in the morning and I did all this in an hour. I contemplated having an early night, which ended up being about 11pm. I was quite pleased with what I’d achieved though.
I’m even more pleased today. After being away at 12:30, 1:15-2, 3:30-5, 6 and then 7:30am. I didn’t give in to P2 coming to bed until 5am and we eventually managed a full hour of sleep. Poor P2 had a bit of a temperature. She’s got a molar coming through and I definitely think it’s to blame for last night, mixed with a bit of a cold that me and hubby have managed to catch.
I’m very thankful for our new friend C. On several occasions when I’ve had a rubbish night or P2 is poorly she’s been there to help take P1 to school. Her daughter is in P1s class. She’s amazing and I really owe her one today. It was pouring with rain!! P2 has been asleep pretty much all morning. Her temperature has gone down but she looks like poop the poor thing.
All of us have to get better by tomorrow as we are invited to a party in London!
