Siblings 2017 – December – Looking Back On A Year

The third year done and dusted of the Siblings project. I can’t believe it! I’ve had my completed set of sisters for three years now. This photography project has been the only one I have stuck at. I love documenting our journey and how they grow.

I think the previous two years have been the ones where you can see physical changes, especially in the 2015 Siblings Project. It’s a tradition for me to look back on the year so here are all of my sibling photos from 2017.

I’m sure you can agree, we’ve had a pretty busy year! It’s generally had many amazing things happen. I actually feel quite happy as I reflect on our 2017. In this past month my girls seem to be more at home with each other, I’ve caught them cuddling on various occasions and they tend to play as a three more than as a two or by themselves.

Photographing them all together has become a little easier this month too. I’m trying my best to get them to pose for me so that I have many photos for our memories, and theirs obviously. I wanted to share three of my favourites that I’ve captured this month, all very posed photos but each one just shows their individual personalities. They bring so much joy when they are together.

I am 100% going to be continuing to capture sister moments through 2018. I’m really looking forward to it. I can’t wait to see their relationships change over another year and for them to grow physically too. So much changes in children that it’s scary.
