SmarTrike Dream 4-in-1 Pink Review

As you may have guessed by now. We love receiving products. It’s become a really enjoyable part of my blogging experience and I still feel so lucky each time I get a product arrive at my door for the girls. (Want me to review something for you?)

Our latest scrumptious product that arrived at our door was the SmarTrike Dream 4-in-1 Pink.DSC_0381It arrived when I was in the shower and by the time I was down hubby had put it up and P2 was sitting inside looking rather amused and pleased with herself. We had a SmarTrike for P1 but unfortunately it got left outside and well… You know the ending of that story. When P2s trike arrived you could really see the jealousy in P1s eyes. We had to thoroughly explain that we hadn’t bought it.DSC_0386DSC_0394The Dream features touch steering for parents, because I hadn’t put the trike together myself it took me half the school run to figure out how to turn the child steering off, P2 was directing us in many ways but once I figured it out, it really is touch steering. The slightly movement really turns the wheels! It’s so simple to manoeuvre, even for a 4ft 8in little lady.DSC_0397The seat has four stages; from 10months the seat features a padded, washable seat that has over the shoulder restraints with a supporting side bar to stop the child from falling to the side. From 18months you remove the seat and the child has a little more control over the steering. At 24months the side bars get removed and the fixed footrests come up. Giving child full control of pedalling and steering. Then the final stage sees the parent control being removed giving child full range of the trike.DSC_0401We took the trike out on the school run. P2 was so excited and was pretending to steer, I’ve never seen her so amused about the school run! The trike steered beautifully and the ride was smooth. I’m so pleased with it.20140123-032846 pm.jpg
