I walk to school or nursery every single day at least once, usually three times, and it’s a great way for me to start taking in my local area and noticing habits. Suddenly over the past week I have started to see shoots of little flowers emerging from their beds. For me, it’s a sign that Spring and warmer, longer days are approaching.
To mark this joyous news (for me more than anyone else probably) I bought some £1 daffodils from the supermarket this week to add a bit of colour to my living room. I later realised that daffodils are one of the flowers poisonous to cats, so they’ve been moved to a high place that I hope the cats cannot reach…
Beautiful !!
These yellow daffodil are looking so pretty 🙂
Thank you. I’m so excited to see colour appear in my life.
A pop of yellow certainly brightens up a day. #MySundayPhoto
It’s my mother in law’s favourite colour. I prefer a pink tulip
That really is a sign that Spring’s not far off! Lovely shot! 🙂 #sundayphoto
I can’t wait to feel the warmth of the sun on my face.
I have been trying to walk to school a little more often as we are just over a mile away but we have to walk along a very busy road which is quite scary with three little ones. Loving the daffodils though 🙂 #MySundayPhoto
We had the same issue before we moved. Now the roads are relatively quiet thankfully.
We saw some wild daffodils this week – we literally couldn’t believe how early they sprouted!
It’s so exciting. I can’t wait for all the colours to start appearing.
Daffodils are such a jolly flower! Can’t wait to see more of them around x #MySundayPhoto
Me too. I’m seeing the little shoots appearing.
Ahh! I bought some daffodils too….Mine are just starting to bloom. I really love them. They do cheer the house up x
They really do. I’m going to try get some regularly over the spring.
I love daffodils and miss watching them grow here in Florida. I always buy them in the spring
They are so pretty and mood lifting aren’t they?!

They really do. Hopefully they don’t hurt the cats
