My Sunday Photo 2018 – Daffodil Season

I walk to school or nursery every single day at least once, usually three times, and it’s a great way for me to start taking in my local area and noticing habits. Suddenly over the past week I have started to see shoots of little flowers emerging from their beds. For me, it’s a sign that Spring and warmer, longer days are approaching.

To mark this joyous news (for me more than anyone else probably) I bought some £1 daffodils from the supermarket this week to add a bit of colour to my living room. I later realised that daffodils are one of the flowers poisonous to cats, so they’ve been moved to a high place that I hope the cats cannot reach…
