If you’ve read my blog for a while you’ll know that P1 was born prematurely on Christmas Eve 2008. This has lead to many health issues, some that trouble her every day life and others that are just happening beneath the skin. Last year, P1 went through some growth tests, these included some blood tests and an X-ray. We haven’t actually had the results back, I really need to trace it now we’ve moved to Sevenoaks.
My Grandad keeps a height record for her on his fridge, and we were recently given a TallTape height chart to review which I was very excited about.
It comes rolled up in a clear cylinder packaging and also comes with a black marker pen. Which is always handy. The chart itself starts at 0cm/in which I’m really pleased about because you don’t have to faff about with positioning the chart to the wall.
There are five different designs to choose from. I chose the white one because I wanted something the girls could draw on and personalise themselves.
The chart is portable – it’s tiny! Just perfect for putting in their keepsake boxes and it’s rollable meaning you can measure your tiny newborn or your big hubby. I’m going to mark the girls together on one so they can watch themselves grow and it be something they can share. Considering it reaches 2meters/6ft6in, I think it’ll be in our family for a very long time!
It’s a little shocking how tall P2 is already to be honest. You can purchase your own Tall Tape at Tall Tape themselves or with Kids One Stop Shop for £9.99 each.
