The Ideal Home Show with John Lewis & Quiet Mark

DSC_1326A couple of weeks ago the lovely people at John Lewis invited me along to the Ideal Home Show. I’ve never been to anything like that before, I’ve stuck to just Baby Shows! But with ideas flowing through my brain about our home and the chance to get inspired we accepted and headed to London. DSC_1313It was amazing and so colourful. We saw all sorts of ideas and new products. The most interesting for my hubby was the hot tubs and pools for the garden. Some were bigger than our downstairs!!! It sent me into dream land I have to admit. We also made a note of a fab bath/shower combo that we’ll certainly be saving for in the future.Anyway, the main reason we were there was to visit the treehouse. John Lewis and Quiet Mark have teamed up to bring a new quieter lifestyle. The Quiet Treehouse was huge and absolutely stunning, but most of all it was peaceful from the bustle of the Ideal Home Show. The partnership between the two have a vision to make the world a quieter and calmer place to be with new appliances that are barely noticeable.DSC_1307Noise is am invisible pollution. Entering the Treehouse was a bit like when you get a power cut at home and everything is very quiet and spooky. However, everything was on and that’s what was so amazing. You don’t really notice the noise your own home produces!!DSC_1330We had a lovely time at the Ideal Home Show. Even if it was the busiest show I’ve ever been to at Earls Court and we spent most of it chasing after P2 who liked to dart between people’s legs despite her reins!

(John Lewis provided us with tickets to the Ideal Home Show, however, all opinions and photos are of my own)
