My Weight Loss Journey With BodyChef – Update 2

It’s been a while since I updated you last on my weight loss journey. Life sort of got in the way, I took a few breaks in the BodyChef diet plan due to press trips and keeping up with these got a bit confusing. In this update I wanted to share exactly what a diet delivery plan looks like each day. This specific plan was the four day delivery. 

It arrives on the Thursday if you are within or close to the M25 circle or it arrives on the Friday. They provide just dinner for the first day, then all meals until Tuesday lunch time. Sometimes they include snacks depending on the day and even more rarer there are dessert days too. Unfortunately my break delivery happened to be the week where they provided Brownies for dessert and so I missed those. Here is an example meal plan for 1,000 calories a day:


Dinner: Cottage Pie with Carrots and Cabbage. 380 calories in total.


Breakfast: Blueberry Oat Pancakes with Vanilla Yoghurt. 332 calories in total.

Snacks: Apple and Cheese Portion. 195 calories.

Lunch: Chicken Strips, Chopped Mixed Salad, Coleslaw, Honey & Mustard Salad Dressing. 256 calories.

Dinner: Spaghetti Bolognese. 403 calories.


Breakfast: Shreddies and Low Fat Fruit Yoghurt. 235 calories, plus the milk that you use with cereal.

Snacks: Large portion of Grapes. 120 calories.

Lunch: Tuna, Tortilla Wrap and Cheesy Coleslaw. 300 calories.

Dinner: Fish Pie and Garden Peas. 360 calories.


Breakfast: Blueberry Oat Pancakes with Vanilla Yoghurt. 332 calories in total.

Snacks: Sliced Boiled Egg. 75 calories.

Lunch: Wholemeal Bread, Salad and Houmous. 331 calories.

Dinner: Baked Bolognese Peppers and Broccoli. 293 calories.


Breakfast: Fruit and Herbal Tea, Millet Flake Muesli, Blueberries and Soya Milk. 237 calories. 

Snacks: Pumpkin Seeds. 114 calories.

Lunch: Wholemeal Bread, Chopped Mixed Salad, Salad, Low Fat Spread and Cheese Portion. 387 calories.

As the weeks went by I found it easier to stomach the veggies that I used to avoid. I especially loved eating the Baked Bolognese Peppers and will definitely be making them myself another time. I have found myself feeling much less bloated, I feel more awake and definitely less hungry than the first few weeks I was on BodyChef. I even started working out at home every other day to help aid my weight loss and toning goals.

I weighed myself before creating this post and I am currently 6st 8lbs. I am honestly so pleased that I am losing weight. It’s a little slower than I had expected but I think that’s because I am not really exercising as much as I will be next month. In my next update I want to discuss what it is like to move from a ready made diet plan and back to a normal diet whilst still losing weight and reaching my goal of 6 stone in weight.
