Following P1s concussion on Tuesday; we kept her off of school Wednesday. Really she was absolutely fine but with her being sick and my fear of something drastic going wrong I just wanted her under my watchful eye.
The school phoned us. They are adamant that the hospital is wrong. They claimed that the accident could not have caused concussion. I’m fuming and not really sure how to deal with it. I’m too angry to write a letter right now but I’m so angry I need to get this sorted.
Anyway, P2 shocked us yesterday. One minute I left her at the bottom of my MiLs stairs. Literally for about 1 minute. It was rather quiet so I went to check. To find her half way up the stairs looking rather proud of herself!!She’d managed to master the art of climbing in just a few minutes! She’s never attempted or even looked like she was interested in stairs. But the temptation of her big sister and Uncle laughing from upstairs was obviously too much to ignore.
What will P2 be getting for her birthday? Stairgates. We’ll need a retractable one for upstairs as the gap is very narrow but downstairs is going to be more of a difficult situation. Our stairs hang out further than the wall at the bottom.
