World Book Day With Argos Plus A Competition

argos_logo (1)Thursday 6th March 2014 is World Book Day. A day where we celebrate the work that authors, illustrators and books do for all of us around the world. Most importantly it’s a day to celebrate reading! 2014 is the 17th year that we’ve come together to celebrate World Book Day and I still remember dressing up as various book characters and going to school with my pocket money and my book token. Our school used to hold a book sale after school and I’d get all excited for the bell to ring and try and make my way through all the children to get first pick of the books. I love books and I love to read!

Technology is rapidly taking over the world with digital editions of books being available at the click of a button, but I can’t help but think that holding a book, feeling the pages and smelling that distinctive smell of new paper is just the best moment a child could experience. We have loads of books in this household, mainly children’s books I have to admit, but we never get stuck for something to read. I’m very pleased that P1 has taken after her mummy. World Book Day is a day that really excites her, but what’s even better is her love for dressing up so what better way to celebrate World Book Day than to team up with Argos to offer a fantastic new competition to win some dressing up outfits.

There’s four outfits to be given away; Goldilocks, Horrid Henry, The Hungry Caterpillar (A personal favourite) and Red Riding Hood. For your chance to win one of the above outfits please enter below. The competition is open until midnight on the 5th March 2014 so plenty of time to participate just in time for World Book Day.
